When looking at the number of pageviews used to compute the heatmap and clickmap for a given page, you may have noticed that Nelio reports two different numbers (e.g. the heatmap is created based on the information of 750 pageviews while the clickmap for the same page is created based on 450 pageviews).
The reason is that all visits to the page are monitored to create a heatmap regardless whether they click or not on an element in that page. Instead, when computing a clickmap, we only count those visits that actually click. That’s why the number of reported pageviews for clickmaps is lower.
